I like the way the M&P feels, but I have Glocks just because I had them before I realized what the M&P is all about.

All three, even though all have very strong supporters you really will not be wrong with what ever one you pick. I have four Glocks an XDm, XD and recently got my first M&P. Only two are 9mm the rest .40. Handle all three dry fire and make your pick.

The XD seems to be the best for the price and the dealers pay around $380.00 or less for them. But then you have to see which fits the best. They all work!

I have shot all three but prefer Glock out of all three. That been said, they car close enough I would get which ever has the best discount (that will mean the XD at this time).

I'm shocked as to how many people are pulling for the M&P. I thought it would be a run away for the glock in all honesty. Not because it's better/worse, just seems like everyone here is a satisfied Glock owner.

You guys are awesome by the way, makes me proud to be a Calgunner. You guys are giving me more than enough to make this tough decision.

Wish I could get all 3 and call it a day

actually if you look at your poll numbers it is a runaway win for Glock with the M&P just slightly ahead of the XD. I did not vote, your good either way you go.

I believe the poll represents the overall market penetration of each gun, with the Glock being around forever. They're all good and none are significantly better overall than the others.

Maybe we should only vote if we had significant time on all 3 platforms.

True, Poll shows the Glock over 2 to 1. But, a lot more argument for the M&P than I had predicted.

+5......Glock has been around for what seems like forever and the M&P is really popular right now, so those poll results just represent that. Shoot them and decide for yourself and don't buy something just based on a popularity contest.

Having owned a Glock 17 and an XD9. I prefer the XD9. Its all about what fits and shoots best for you. Personally I found the XD9 a better fit for me.

I've bought the M&P and put the Glock up for sale.
