This is the oddest question I have seen in a long time. It would depend on your agency, but I figure most in CA would say, No.

Maybe in a free state you could use this as a joke..... Get some ****s and giggles.

I would love to see that on a LTC though. LOL

You can not "replace a cylinder" on a muzzleloader.
Since I can't comprehend can you tell me what he ment when the OP asked if you could put a BP gun on your CCW [the OP's question].Was he talking about a big chunk of iron and wood that only fired 1 or 2 shots?I find something like that hard to conceal so he had to be asking about pepperboxs or revolvers.

Huh? There are many small muzzleloading single shot handguns. Many of which are smaller than many modern full sized or compact handguns.

Why anyone would want a BP gun on there CCW is beyond me.If I did and most people would want the most shots that you could have.So why are you stuck on the 1 shot BP gun when better choices also in BP are out there????

In your own admission a pepperbox is a muzzle loader and the howdah pistol and snake eyes are also. That makes it possible to get 2 or more shots off in x amount of seconds.Again why are you stuck on 1 shot????

also, 3 weapons on the LTC means you can carry 3 single shot BP guns.......problem solved, problem staying solved.

                          Badass question!

I think it would be sweet. Like when Clint Eastwood pulls his 1911 onthe thugs in Gran Torino but even more badass.
