@@@@@RSROCKET1....I already have two m&p guns but I was thinking of upgrading to the pro series because of the longer sight radius and "better trigger." I've been looking at videos and that FSS looks freaking sweet. IF I do upgrade to a long slide m&p, I think I'll just get the 9L and buy the FSS.

Wow! msrp on the 9L is higher than the pro series. That doesn't even make sense.

How does the trigger on the 5" m&p pro series compare to a m&p with the APEX competition trigger?

i'm selling my XDm and using the funds to buy another m&p but wanted to know if it's worth buying.
Should I just upgrade the trigger on my full size m&p and buy something else?

        Standard M&P < Pro Series < Apex.

I didn't start with a Pro, mine was a 9L. But I had dry fired a Pro, and I personally didn't think it was different than my M&P9 I bought in 2007. I got the 9L and upgraded.

        This.

Not quite. Mainly just a lighter break in the trigger. Nothing as outstanding as what Apex puts out.

That would be a good way to go. I'm in the process of doing the same. My 9L has the Apex Comp AEK minus the comp striker spring, and comp TRS. It's nice this way, but I'm going to install the FSS in the long slide and put the Apex parts in my FS 9.

Yep...but the price in the shop should be about the same. The only reason I paid much more for my 9L than the FS9 or my 9c is the stupid roster...I wonder how much I would have saved by buying out of state and paying all the fees associated with out of state SSE transfers.

Bottom line, I say get that 9L/9 Pro, and complete the trinity. It's calling you...
