Broken SW or Taurus Trigger Pin/Stud

Since both of these companies utilize the same style integral trigger pin I was wondering what happens when such a thing breaks? Since the pin is apart of the frame, does the whole thing need replacing or is a repair possible?

And has anyone experienced TRIGGER PIN BREAKS with either one? Just wondering because i'm totally new to revolvers/

I have opened three threads on different forums and no body has answered. Now I know CALGUNS.NET is the place to ask so school me!

I have all kinds of different revolvers, Smith & Dan Wessons, Colts, Taurus, Armscor and have never had this happen to any of my revolvers.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Unless they have changed, the trigger pin is actually a press fit bushing part that is fit to the frame and not a part of it. It is fit before bluing and thus is unseen in the finished product.

I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.
