Got a conjugal visit with mine today before it's released. 150 flawless round and put her away dirty. COmes home on Valentines day.
Makes my Sig Pro 9mm feel like it has a rubber trigger. The 1911 is SO much nicer and I can actually shot accurate with it rather then low/left with the Sig Pro.
Now, do I keep the Pro?

For those that have added a different trigger: Why, describe how it helped/improved, and why did you pick the brand trigger over others?

if you are not gonna use the sig pro as HD or a carry weapon, sell it.

Other wise, it's a good combat piece.

If you have time can you describe who these upgraded parts improve the gun?
          What's EGW?
Can you tell I am new to 1911's?

One thing I am not fond of is I can't reach the slide release with my primary hand. My thumb is not long enough

Practice with the Sig Pro with Snap Caps. I have the same problem although I'm beginning to overcome it. With the Snap Caps you can see how little force is actually required on the trigger in SA mode. I got the A-Zoom snap caps as they are all metal.

I have been doing better with the Pro if I aim differently than other pistols. But after trying the 1911 the Pro feels cheap

              Trigger is sloppy compared.

Well finally got the TTT and shot 100 rounds through it yesterday.
Great gun, very accurate and very easy to shoot.
I know they say the trigger pull is 5lbs but I swear it feels more like 4 or less.
The fit and finish is top notch, just a bit better than the Kimber eclipse II I had and way better than the springfield loaded I had.

EGW = Evolution Gun Works. They make great quality parts and I believe Sig 1911s come with some EGW parts from the factory, the sear being one of them.

I love my Sig 1911 TACPAC

The only thing I would note is this. In my experience the extractor was very tight at first which caused failure to go into battery quite often. After 360 rounds the Sig is flawless. Very confident in it's abilities.

I'd like to get a second cheaper model than my TTT like a GI version. Looked at the RIA GI 1911 and it was not very good, especially with their new big logo on the left of the slide. Looking at the XO as the cheapest Sig 1911 but it's still full of extra features and cost is about the same as well. I wish they made a simple no non sense GI like model for say $650 or so.
