My only complaint with my Sig 1911 is that the beavertail has a very sharp edge to it... but that can be filed down

If you compare the TRP to the sig 1911 there isnt too much a difference.IMO sig 1911 are the best value 1911 out there. Plus it's made in America! Springfields are not.

I own two Sig 1911's. I believe the Sig 1911 is one of the best values in a 1911 out there. Many common misconceptions exist for these gun like, "you can't upgrade them with standard 1911 aftermarket parts", "they won't fit in your 1911 holster", "the external extractor is a bad idea", etc. etc. These are all incorrect.

I shoot my Sig 1911's more than any other gun I own, primarily because they perform so well and cost so little to buy, being less invested in something makes using it less stressful.

On the other hand, I do believe as you move up the 1911 spectrum you do get value for your money. People that say you don't get any additional value in a SA TRP, Baer, Brown, SA Pro, NH or WC likely have not owned one.

What's the dif between the nitron rail and the scorp? (Other than the spike). Do they all come with magwells? Thisthread is the straw that broke the camels budget, the second I finish my xd, a sig will be added to the line up.

To the OP, I don't mean to thread jack, I'm just as interested as you are.

Hopefully the scorpian will become listed.

NO Pics in this thread! Bunch of slackers!

No pics? Okay, here's one with the tactical pen attachment.

                    I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,

Congrats! Where did you buy from?
What's the difference in this version vrs other Sig 1911's other than colors?
WHo is foing the SSE and what does it cost if you don't mind.

Wish there was a spreadsheet or chat to compare them side by side.

                          Another vote for Sig...

Couple flawless impressive trips to the range so far. Nothing to complain about so far. Very nice pistol, feels good in the hand to shoot and accurate too. Can't go wrong for the price. Best 1911 for the money in my opinion.

Just to wet the appetite. Nitron Target model...

ordered it at DAS in Solana Beach, $1100 out the door, SSE included in the price of the gun.

Really? I have both and I would disagree 100%.

The NM marked guns are American enough to considered "Made in America"...works for me.
