Personally, I don't touch the decock safety.
    Okay. Find me a new-production Beretta 92G.

How about a little more smoke to confuse the issue?

At my shooting clinic last Saturday a very nice married couple ran the graduation mini-course (20 targets, necessitating a magazine change) with both their favorite pistols. Going in, the husband preferred the Glock, the wife preferred the Beretta 92.

After running the course 4 times each, the husband still preferred the Glock; the wife preferred the Beretta. What have we learned?

Each shot faster with the Beretta.

      Cheers,

Sorry you had an issue. If you still have it we will be happy to change it out for you. Usually a reset issue isnt striker related. However anything is possible. I would be glad to help u out.

            Both.

But if I could only pick one... Glock 17.

You should shoot both and decide. They are very different pistols. I go back and forth. When I was new to shooting I prefired the Beretta because of the better trigger and mis conception that an all metal gun is better. Since I have shot lots of guns and know what works and does not (for me) the G17 is hands down the better gun. In accuracy I shoot them both equally but the Glock does take more concentration. The reset on the Glock is much shorter and positive so it is easier to shoot faster. The lack of the DA/SA system makes it more appealing as well.

They are both great pistols and you can't go wrong with either one. I am located in Concord. If you want some trigger time with mine PM me and we can arrange a trip to try them out.

                Thanks Sammy,

I have already bought a Glock 17. Appreciate your offer to try your gun.

                  There is no wrong choice.
