Is this phenomenon common for polymer framed pistols? So far, if I've read correctly, it appears to affect certain Glocks and some Sig P2022s. Just wondering if this might be an issue for other polymer framed pistols like H&K, S&W, etc.

Who knows, I've never heard it ever happening to anything other than Glocks and its not a huge amount but enough to take notice. Apparently now it happened to his Sig, sounds interesting. I've ran several with lights in .40. Refer to my post above with streamlights warning. Gunzone has some articles on it and its on some press releases as well.

It happened to this gentleman with a Glock 19 and TLR-1 light, and Glock's response to him is similar to Sigs in this case.Either change the gun, or change the light.

Mine has been doing a fte on the 7th round too often. I asked around and it might be due to having the sig laser attached. I cleaned it and am going to the range soon to test it out with and with out the laser. Mine is the .40 as well

I am not impressed with Sigs customer service either to be honest. I always wanted a Sig so I got one, but I trust my 1st pistol I bought a tad bit more. How does your feed ramp look? Mine look a little worn already and I called and asked them about polishing my feed ramp and they said it would viod my warranty. I then told them they offered the service too though and they said it was different if THEY did it. If this gun ever breaks I will have to buy a new barrel before I send it to them I guess lol. So for now, I guess my Sig is my range gun, until I break it in even more :/

I never really paid attention to the feed ramp. I use the sig pro for HD until my p226 is out of jail. TBH, without the lights/lasers it should be fine. And yeah, sig just sucks in ther CS department.

makes me wanna buy a glock. lol Either way, use the sig pro for HD with confidence, just don't mount any crap on it until what they say.

I shot my brand new p226 with tlr1 mount. It shot just fine.

but does anyone else find the tlr1 useless?
