I'm not jealous of your Les Baer, nope not at all.
lol, Congrats bro. I have a Beretta 92 and I love it. Just like you, it felt as if it were made for my hands. My wife even enjoys shooting it.
Ahhh, the Les Baer though.... I dream, oh yes I dream of owning one, one day.Sent from free America otherwise known as Utah.Comment

Nice! Good score. With work, the holidays, family commitments, new puppy etc.. I managed to stockpile three new pistols. First was a 92f Inox, then M&P 45, and last, but not least, was a Les Baer PII.
So up early today and at the range banging away by seven. All the targets were at 21 yards. My initial thoughts on these three pistols;
Berretta - I was impressed with the quality, and the fit for my hand was perfect. I love the feel of this gun. From dry firing, I knew the trigger was going to take some getting use to. The first 50 rounds were disappointing. After the next 100 things were getting better. The last 50 all went into about a 5" pattern. The trigger was was starting to get better. I'm looking forward to spending more time with it. I never got used to my 226 and sold it and although my wife has an XD9, this is my only 9mm.
M&P 45 - Nice ergos and fairly accurate. The trigger sucks every bit as much as everyone says it does. 200 rounds and it never got never got any better. The worst thing was it was inconstant. Off the bench it shot well. Apex will get a call this Monday.
Les Baer Premiere II - Very well made and very tight. Nice trigger, nice finish and crazy accurate. I thought because it was so tight I would have a few failures to feed or eject but it fired two different types of ball ammo and Speer hollow point handloads without a single problem. This pistol is very picky about magazines. I had 3 different types of magazines with me and it would only feed with the one supplied. None of the shops around here had any Wilsons so Monday I'll call Brownells.
Anyways, it was great to finally get a chance to shoot these pistols that were burning a hole in the safe.
My Beretta 92 FS is a favorite in my collection. I have ginormous hands so it fits very well. The more you shoot it, the more you will love it. It is like a fine wine. It only gets better with age and use.
While I don't have an M&Ps I was looking at them really hard. I did try them out but couldn't get past the feel or trigger. There is a huge following for them. Lots of tips to polish the trigger and get the right feel out of it.
As for the Les Baer, nice! Those are fantastic guns. You don't even need to aim. You will shoot a full magazine and have only one hole on your paper.... lol. That gun far exceeds my capability.
Safe shooting bro!Signature requiredComment

After getting an ETM Wilson mag, I'll never bother getting anything else. Why mess around with perfection. I'd rather get a ton of identical mags that I know will work in anything....Comment

I ordered the Apex Forward Trigger kit yesterday and it was delivered this afternoon. Great service!!! It looks to be high quality stuff. I'm sure I'll have it in by Saturday if not before.
I'll post up some pictures of the new pistols but I can never seem to get the lighting right for close ups on guns.Comment

I have 3 92FS, and I will tell you first of all it is an unbelievable pistol. I would change the polymer guide rod out for a steel one but thats just preference.
As the 92F breaks in the slide to frame movement becomes like glass and the pistol feels better with age.
I have put at least 5000 rounds total through the 3 pistols and have had zero malfunctions ever.
If you are LEO or live in a free state, the Mecgar 18 round flush fit magazines are IMHO the best available.
It is a good idea to inspect the locking block from time to time, although 2 of my 92F's are at least 10 years old and the locking blocks still look as new.Comment
