    Handgun Roster Question

I am thinking about purchasing a Taurus 454 Raging Bull .454 Casull 8.375" Stainless. However, the California DOJ handgun roster only list the 454 (Stainless 8 3/8") / Stainless Steel as the allowed. Would I be able to purchase the Taurus 454 Raging Bull and have it shipped to California?

    Thanks for the help.

Yes, if it's not on the roster it would need to be converted to SAO. You could convert it back after DROS.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

morcarr676 is correct - but that's an example of an extra hoop to jump through.

In general, no you can't order an off-Roster handgun and have it shipped here, unless you plan to so the single-action thing for a revolver or a single-shot thing for a semi-auto, or you are exempt from the Roster. From out of state, gun must be shipped to CA FFL, and CA FFL can't deliver an off-Roster handgun unless one of the above is true.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
