Has anyone modified a kydex holster somehow to accommodate a gas pedal?
I dont think I've ever seen a kydex holster for a gas pedal... I'm planning on shootin 3 gun sometime next year ...

I dont know but I feel the gas pedal would take away; what I like about limited... I mean just for what I learn and take in from Limited not for everyone else... I want to learn to shot a my Limited 1911/2011 pistol without a gas pedal. Its natural way to shoot a pistol... But, the tinker in me wants to play with different aspects of the pistol. Thats why I'm gonna build a open gun

Yup. You can get STI in California quite easily.

Jimmy has mine right now. Can't wait to pick it up!
I'm very interested!! I looked on the "Approved Handgun" list and STI is not mentioned anywhere. So how do I get a STI pistol from a CA dealer In the Peoples REpublik?

I know I can buy one through a private "person to person" sale.

you can get them thru SSE ... I've been buying them thru oak hill enterprise and having table rock arms do the SSE for me and have them sent to Don @ straightline tactical near me...

You know, I got the new Double Alpha Race Master.

It sounds crazy, but locked, I think I trust it more than my Ready Tactical Kydex. It ain't going anywhere locked!

Esskay is no stranger to the STI either!!! Darth Vader = droolsssss

                      LOL

For a major match, with match fees, travel expenses, prize table, etc all on the line ... I'm always real paranoid about DQs!!

It will be interesting to see if gas pedals become legal for USPSA Limited, how the outlaw matches will handle it. And how many 3-gunners will be tempted.

I agree. If it was something like a CR Speed, I wouldn't touch it for 3 gun.

But this DAA Race Master is something else. It's very well made and the locking mechanism is nuts.

Hmm, well I look forward to checking it out then!

The other consideration for 3-gun is that if you're shooting in tough conditions, natural terrain, etc and have to go prone/etc there would be limited protection for your pistol... mud on the sights, etc etc

Yea, that is the only issue I could see with it. Getting my pretty gun dirty. Hehe.
