    Help Selecting Second 9mm

I have multiple models for the various calibers I have except the 9mm. Currently have the G19 but am wanting another 9. Preferably a sub compact for carry but would consider a full size with at least a 4.5" bbl as a non-carry as well.

Less than $600.00 is my target

Appreciate comments on some quality firearms I'm not thinking about that meet my needs.

    Considering,

    KAHR CW9
    SA XD9
    Glock-26

Since the G26 is an option it makes the most sense. You can use the G19 mags, same platform, and with a permit (if you have one now or later) it makes sense to have it as your sub compact option.

Although since you mention you have multiple firearms, if you already have a carry preference I would go the the XD and use the extra money saved on a ton of ammo and have fun.

A S&W 3913LS or NL. Perfect for concealment. You can can find them for about 400-500.

Same boat as you. I went with a CZ 75 and it will be may range and second HD gun. I don't like subcompact as I can't get a decent grip on them. The 19 is perfect (for me) as far as concealment and all around use. I'm really liking the CZ line these days.

          WTB used AK MFER.

Between the 3 options, I'd go for the Kahr.

              S&W SD9 is a good 9mm pistol.

I think that is on the off-list?

                  2nd 9mm

                  Sorry,

SD9 is off-list. But the SW99 is not.

Glock 26. (or a Glock 27 with conversion barrel; depending if you like .40)

The G 26 will run with G19 or G17 mags. This weapon is common and easy to buy and sell. They are accurate and you can maintain (overhaul) them yourself.

I have 3 I like them so much..

On the subject of Glock 27 in .40. I have one that will run .40 or .357 SIG. Just a barrel change, same magazine. Also less money than most (I paid $380 for it here on the classifieds) Kind of a FrankenGlock of sorts. But real fun to shoot. Deadnuts reliable. It sometimes travels with me Unloaded_in_a_Locked_Case.

Thanks. Don't need another 40. My XD-40SC and Sig 226R are all I need.

I carry an HK p2000sk in 9mm. It works great for me. I'm a lefty with smaller hands. The controls are ambi, shoots great, never a jam or a hiccup ever. Very high quality. A bit pricey though.

Have you tried or considered a CZ-75? I absolutely love mine in 9mm!

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

The Kahr for carry, and the Glock 26 for compatibility.
