How bout the Baer way of storage. A big bottle of CLP, multiple ziplock bags and your storage box of choice (they prefer a cardboard box). Dump a fair amount of CLP into the ziplock baggie, put your gun in and make airtight.

If it prevents a 1911 from rusting, your Glock should be fine.
