    Sigma 40 value?

I bought a Sigma about a year ago and am looking into selling it for a Glock or something a little more wife friendly, I was wondering what you guys thought it was worth. I have 3 mags and it has a shorter front sight, a pachmayr grip, and less than 500 rounds down the barrel. I havent done ANY trigger work and outside of the front sight is completely original. Thanks guys!

      I bought a used (great condition) Stainless/OD Green .40 Sigma for $220..

$250 and UNDER seems to be the going rate.. heck, you can find them for $299 brand new. The closer it's priced to $200 the faster it will sell.. $250 might take awhile.. $200 won't take long at all.

There was one listed on here in SOCAL for $100!!!!
It took about an Hour to sell. I had one, the trigger is horrific!

With the extra mag and grip I would say close to the $250-260 range. But obviously the lower you price it the faster it will sell.

New ones are going for 250 to 299. So 150 to 200 is fair.

$250 or so used is on the mark. $200 is a screaming deal and less than that is a lowball offer.

Dan is dead on.. anyone telling you $150 is just trying to get a steal.. $200 to $250 is fair if it's in good condition with the two mags.

... and it doesn't make sense to try to sell it for what you can get it for new with a warranty. So price it less if you want to sell it.

For $200 I'd just keep, let the collection grow.

Hence the suggestion of $200 to $250 depending on how fast he wants to sell..

Below $200 is just giving it away and unnecessary unless it's beat to crud.

I dont know about you, but most people would rather spend a little bit more to get a new weapon. For me, it would have to be a significant price difference to convince me. When buying used you're taking the chance on somone elses care of the weapon, maintenance and honesty of its reliable function. With a new weapon, you don't.

The discount on used needs to be sweet enough to make people take that gamble.

If I had the choice between new at 275 vs used at 220, its not even a second thought. New without hesitation.

Would have to be 200 to even consider looking and even better to overlook some small signs of wear.

                            I'm just being honest.

And he asked for the value of the weapon. It is EXTREMELY helpful to know how much it would cost new when attempting to sell the same item used.

Obviously when they are 275 new it would be folly to attempt to sell used for the same price.
