10-8 performance lube on my 1911's. Actually, the rest of my pistols get it now, too.

My TRS has over 16,000 rounds through it. I have used nothing but Mobil 1 5/30. It shows no wear on the rails, very little on the barrel and slide stop. The best part is the cost.

When I store my store my firearms in storage for a long while I use LubriPlate SLF-0 grease...
I am compelled to try both of these options.

I use that pink Mobile 1 grease on my M1 Garand (as it requires real grease) and sometimes my AK. It works great. I wouldn't mind trying some LubriPlate when I get my 1911 though. I've been using CLP on most other things for a while, but it annoys me that it evaporates so quickly. Then again, cleaning is easier than caked on grease.

They all work. I have so many different sample bottles that came with various guns over the years that i simply use one till it's gone and grab the next one i see laying around on the loading bench. Like i said, they all work.

I only use Lubri Plate FMO-350-AW oil when I'm constantly using the firearm... But when I put it in storage thats when I use Lubri Plate SLF-0 grease ... And when I take a firearm out of storage I clean it and slap some lubri plate oil and go shoot...

I use my own super-duper concoction----- a modified Ed's Red.

Tetra Gun Grease. Use a tiny drop on each rail.

A very light coating of Slide Glide lite or TW25b on frame/slide rails and barrel/bushing contact areas. Won't fly off like oil.

Sig Arms now packs a small sample of TW25b with new handguns.

                                Shoot, clean, grease.

                                Repeat often.
