Ruger SR9C would be my choice with the criteria you specified. Otherwise, S&W M&P 9C or sub compact Glocks.

        I had a 19 and still have a 17, not really a fan of the 26

OP needed to get something before the 21st... (actually probably before the 11th cuz due to the 10 day wait)

Too bad it has to be buy Monday, a buddy of mine at work wants to sell a CZ Rami, less than 50 rounds through it, my guess is you could get it for $350-$400 + DROS, we work at the airport in Fresno.

I may check it out my self.

That seems like a great pistol

I know not to have a mag in the pistol. I just want to be able to have everything within reach. Have to get the paperwork started by monday because im driving from Fresno to Colorado on the 21st to visit family. I want a few hours of range time with it so I can put a few hundred rounds through it to get some muscle memory with it. Im taking my beretta and some 20rd rebuild kits packed away in my bag to play with on my uncle's ranch. Hoping to buy some high cap mags once I get to colorado to play with the new pistol. My sigma is too large for the box. Im looking at buying a Ruger LC9 or a S&W 908 used, both in the 350-400 price range
OK so I just purchased one of those tiny and let me repeat TINY nanovault 100's, asked at the store how many mags would it hold with a Glock 19 and they told me only one and one in the gun (which defeats the purpose of LUCC) so I started looking at the 200, and went back and got the 100. Let me say you can have a compact model in a tiny box with two loaded mags unloaded next to it! I have the two mags on their skinny sides and the 19 packed in there pretty tight but it works.

Might want to take your lock box to the store and see what will actually fit. Sigma I believe is a little larger (just a tiny bit) then the compact Glocks (been awhile since I've seen/handled one).

                            Glock 19=compact
                            Glock 26=subcompact

I would go find a buddy that have some of the options you want to try or a range that does and go shoot them

                            all good suggestions imo.
