Good thumbstrap/angle holster.

I saw a few weeks ago a few videos of some guys with holsters that had thumbstraps and what looked to be angle draw holsters. By angle draw I mean he hit the thumbstrap release and had to push the gun slightly forward to pull it out. That being said I did not see, repeat....did not see a second button for the angle draw, I've seen one safariland like that and dont necessarily want to have to deal with a second strap. Anyone seen a make or model like this?

Aye...that may have been it, it was from a different angle though, I'm doing my best to describe it. They both had pistols, not revolvers, one had a 92/96 I couldn't tell and the other had a Glock 22.

Well thats the thing, I was watching the video and they were showing off the holster and there stuff and he hit his thumbstrap and just ever so much pushed the gun forward and out it came, I didnt see a button on the outside to make me think it was a level 3. I will consider the level 3 if it has good reviews. The local cops in places I've been use them.

Same, all the people I know swear by the safariland duty holsters. Which specific model was it you were looking at? I havent seen many lvl3's that have the button.

Its not quite the way the strap worked or looked but I almost wish it had no strap but that angle system ya know? Watch the video to see what I mean.

Oh I thought level three was the additional strap down toward the trigger guard that you had to unsnap to bring it out of the holster?

And yes the guys here love them, I have only seen a few blackhawks or some other brands.

the lvl 3 does have the lower strap, some other designs use different ways though, its not required that it is a strap. I believe the ALS would be an example of it, with the hood.

Does Safari make a model like the one I pasted just no strap and it snaps in and you angle it to disengage it?

Thats the wrap around style, on mobile atm or id post it, look on there site its a lvl 2 retention SLS type. It does actually have a snap.

Damn, I still cant find the design I'm looking for. Eh it was probably some off brand they were using.

As far as the level 2, is it that it has a thumbsnap and it also snaps into place?
