Can a relative (Uncle) who lives in Nevada transfer an (CA) off list gun he owns to me when he's visiting California? (With a 10 round mag)

    No.

NV resident to CA resident is interstate.

    Interstate must go through FFL.

FFL transfers must be on-Roster unless somehow exempt.

    FFL-mediated intrafamilial transfers are exempt.

Uncle is not direct-line family, does not count as intrafamilial.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Wow, I just read those links cause I was wondering if my brother from out of state could do an intrafamily transfer and the answer is no, but he could transfer it to my mother here in CA and then she could transfer it it me. What a pain.

A pain, yes, but don't worry, these laws also make it difficult for criminals to bring guns into California. So we are all safer for them.

That could be considered a "structured" deal - which is also a no-no...

What kind of government do you guys got here? This is worse than California.

            1 Peter 3:15

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

            2 Corinthians 3:3
You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Right. Can't do it that way.

However, if your dad or grandparents lived in the same state that your brother live in he could give it to them in that state and then they can give it to you.

The "structured" deal doesn't count then.
              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Criminals with other criminal friends out-of-state will ignore both Federal and State laws..!! And just ship guns, drugs, whatever direct. No accountability.

Yeah, I am not looking at doing that and thought it was wierd they had an example on how to get around it.
