Are the SVI's on the roster? I looked in the roster and did not see anything for Infinity or SVI

There's an SVI .45 on the roster. It's selectable when you go to SVI's site.

Wilson Super Grade series guns. They're the Holy Grail of 1911's for a lot of guys. All billet milled parts and hand fitted, no cast parts, no MIM. Top notch stuff, but not cheap as they start in the mid $4,000-$5,000 range. Even at that price, you're looking at a 6-8 month lead time for a gun that is speced to your personal needs and hand built and fitted by one Master Gunsmith. Wilson makes some nice stuff, but the Supergrade guns are built to be as smooth and reliable as a 1911 can be. Lots of guys carry Wilson Supergrades as duty pieces, and in the sandbox.

              I don't think it's nice,...you laughing.
You see, my mule don't like people laughing.
He gets the crazy idea you're laughing at him.
Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to,
I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'd say SVI Infinity as well. Love mine!

All SV parts are also machined barstock and made to exact tolerances.
They make pretty much everything in house including barrels/frames/slides/grips/small parts.

It's not the flashiest, but I'm a big fan of my gun.

It's only had 5 malfunctions ever, and those were all due to one faulty magazine.

I've heard nothing but good things about SVI's machining and quality.. So if i had both the time and money, i'd go this way..

there are 4 options just on grip safety alone. I would start here.

The total number of options does seem "infinity"

one of the things i find most appealing is the body. I like the square fit bodies. Really going for aesthetics however you spell that

I've got a couple and a frame sitting around here somewhere.

Mine have been used and abused for some time. The 5" is from 1999 and the 6" from 2006. Lots of matches, 10's of thousands of rounds and they cycle like new. The 6" will get a sightracker barrel when the USPSA approves it.

They aren't as sexy as the new guns with all the fancy cuts and new grips but they are still fantastic guns.

Love the look of the SVI

STI's rollmark is just so ugly, but great guns.
