Look here at step 15 and subsequent and you'll have your answer.

Since a traditional AR15 has the mag well ahead of the pistol grip, AR pistols need a bullet button to avoid "assault weapon" status.

Once you have a bullet button (and magazines that hold 10 rounds or less), you can have as many features as you want (although a vertical forward grip would trigger AOW status so you need a tax stamp for that).

The real question is why didn't you pick .458 SOCOM?
