              Congrats.

What helped me on my first handgun and rifle waits was stocking up on mags, ammo, holsters, and other accessories. How much did you pick it up for?

599 for the glock ( i know its a bit expensive but all the shops in my area charge this and i didnt feel like driving farther). 15 hsc 25 dros plus all the tax so all together $691.41

again i know i was a bit ripped off but driving to ontario, bakersfield or riverside i would have used that extra 100 bucks on gas. but i plan on buying some trijicon's that is all. i already have like 5 or 6 g22 mags for my sub 2k

Yes, Google glock breech face failures and check these 2 sites out...

I know this has been cussed and discussed on forums before. I'm not claiming by any means to have "discovered something new." Recently I was in a gun shop and a customer was returning a Glock that had a cracked breech face. Subsequently, I did some research, and there is a rare but persistent...

Yes, because of the striker design the firing pin rides right into the rear of the breech face under the tension of the striker spring. Of course with hammer driven designs there are other parts under similar stresses from firing.

One question I have is if it's not ok to dry fire and that's what causes this then everytime you go to break down your glock and have to phll the trigger your riskinbruise exact failure... So it's inevitable basically..

Not trying to thread jack just not too sure about that after all of the people I've seen dry fire a glock 1000's of times and it actually being a must do when field stripping.

Not tryingto thread jack and I know off topic but this really has my interest since I dry fire all the time.
