Just bought a walther P1 at Turner's. They have a calguns special right now. The one I got was very clean looking with a few scratches on the grips. Anybody else have a P1 and what do you think of them? Mark

I bought one about a month ago in AZ. I haven't had a chance to take it out yet. But, I think they are great guns.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I bought a P1 a month ago. Great gun. Well balanced, very accurate.
A few days ago, I found a nice P38 in their stock and bought that one as well. The bullets with my name on it I'm not worried about, it's the "To whom it may concern" ones I'm worried about.Comment

Got one today at Turners also for $259. Looked unissued with no wear anywhere so I am stoked.
Scored another magazine on GB for $15 shipped also.
I know several who have one and they are nice shooters for sure.Last edited by JAGGUY; 09-09-2011, 8:42 PM.1A-2A=-1AComment

I got one at J&G recently. The grip feels great in my hand, the recoil is very manageable and the take down is super easy. It feels like it's really well made and would last forever. I really like it.Comment

I bought my P1 approx. 7 years ago. Very dependable gun. Strange thing, 'cause mine digest practically any ammo without any hesitation.
Lately however, it developed strange habit of ejecting spent cases straight.....between my eyes.
Ejector doesn't seem to be damaged or bent, and I'm a little bit confused, why it does so! Before it was ejecting with a shallow arc above my head.
Any ideas?
In which direction your P1s eject?Comment

Well I was reading up on P1s and 2 things are desirable. One is a steel hex pin that is added to the aluminum frame I guess for strength and a slide that has the longer serrations which is a beefier slide. Well I had to go back to Turner's today because I forgot a second ID yesterday. I looked at my gun again and not only is it very clean it has the pin and the longer serrations. WOOHOO! MarkComment
