    rossi 972 .357 6"?

so i was thinking about picking a rossi and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these? i know they were bought out from taurus so they have simliar design if not same parts. are they a good buy for their money? how does it feel? how long does it last? any issues out of the box? its gonna be my first revolver so i dont want to get anything expensive and regret it later. i have shot one of my buddies .38 special thought it wasnt too bad but also shot his s&w .44 6"(forgot what grain we were shooting) and thought that it was way to harsh for me at least. there isnt really a reason why i want a revolver and for what pupose, i just kinda want it just to have it. its like crack haha

my dad has had a rossi .38 since the 80s and it has never let him down. It has been a great gun for the money.

You just answered your own question. All the youtube vids I've seen of people shooting Rossi .357's say that (or have comments that say that) also. It's a nice, inexpensive 6-shooter. I'd go for one if I were you.

          LOL, my bad.

On a slight tangent, I've been bitten by the Revolver Bug also, since I got my Ruger .357 GP-100.

I had a 4" 971 .357mag back before taurus bought out rossi. I also had a 2" 38 special. Both had good triggers and shot well. I should of kept them. Mark

When I worked retail gun sales I sold many Rossi revolvers. Non of them ever came back and a lot of people bought more than one. And, this was more than 20 years ago. Way before Taurus bought them. And I say this because I believe Taurus have brought the quality up from then.
              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
