Not that I'm aware of.
There have been updates to the guide rod assembly, not any recalls.

This is what the title of the email stated. I'll leave it up to you guys to argue about. Either way, Im good since I've stuck to the 3rd Gen versions.

Do I call them? do I have to send my recoil spring in first and have a useless gun for a few weeks?

Call them. They will send out a new spring. They will provide an envelope to send your old spring back.

I have one of the so called "faulty" springs in my gun. I've fired around 200 rounds so far with the gun and no jams as of now. I will call Glock for the new spring though.

This is not a recall because it is not a safety issue. Like a failure will not cause the gun to fire on its own.

Wait, so is this separate from the new recoil springs they were sending out before?
When I got my G17 Gen4 it had "0" and "2" stamped on either side of the base of the spring. That was the most current versions. If yours didn't have it, they would send you a new one.

Are they replacing the "02" springs now too?....I still miss mine (sold it), but jeez...

It's not a recall, not in the traditional sense. It's a voluntary exchange, or a voluntary recall if you will. Here is the thread I posted on it.

My Gen 4 G19 came with an 04 RSA. I never had any issues with the 04 but I called Glock a couple of months ago just to find out what's the most current RSA thats being sent out in their Gen 4 G19's and they sent me a 034 RSA free of charge. I didnt even have to send my old one back.

So what's the latest RSA's that Glock is sending out with their Gen 4 G19's now?

From what I can remember here are the RSA numbers in order for the G19:

03, next 04, then 034

Anybody have a different order?
