NFA Trust and a RAW SP89?

Was thinking of getting an NFA Trust as a means to acquiring a Serbu Shorty. Then had this thought; could I use the NFA trust to AOW my HK SP89? I was wondering how neat it'd be to shoot with a Kgrip attached to it.


Currently it wears an AFG.

Was thinking it might be problematic to transfer a RAW into the Trust.

If its a RAW already, cant you use a foregrip? Or is that only on rifles.

A fore-grip on a pistol turns it into a federal AOW.

Well it is illegal to transfer a RAW from person to another. So, I would guess that it is illegal to transfer a RAW from one person to NFA trust because a trust is considered a legal entity (read person).

But I'm not a lawyer; I have not played a lawyer on TV nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of... Another reason this Caliban's got to go.
A couple years ago, someone asked me why I cared (since I was lucky to have bought and registered when I did) about the AW ban.
Simply put; I hate that everyone can't own what they want.
