the satin finish is just how they treat the stainless like a media blast or something similar, its not a coating if I am remembering correctly. The aluminum frame on the other hand has a coating if I remember correctly as well (for those guns that have the aluminum frame).

That being the case, they do a helluva nice cosmetic job on their pistols.

From my expiriance with them, they do a hell of a nice job on everything but the MSH plastic.... idk what they were thinking, I still need to order a stainless one.
