How long have you had it, and does it still look as good as new? What do you use it for, and how often do you handle and/or fire it?Comment

Never put in a holster I've had it for 2 years. Around 750 rounds, looks like new. It was my nightstand gun and spent most of it's time sleeping on a nice soft t shirt. I wouldn't worry about the finish too much it holds up really well.America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

I dailiy carried mine with no visible holster wear. a stainless pro carry IILiberal commentary from A cnn editorial piece"The automatic M82 sniper rifle is also known as the "light fifty" for its ability to engage targets at over 50 miles. The armor piercing .50 BMG round is capable is killing an innocent child or puppy through 5 engine blocks and comes with a 10 round clip. Why would anyone need 10 rounds of .50 caliber anti tank sniper ammunition???"Comment

I have a kimber compact stainless II, you can faintly see some scratches but they dont show nearly as much as a blued gun which is excellent.

the satin finish is just how they treat the stainless like a media blast or something similar, its not a coating if I am remembering correctly. The aluminum frame on the other hand has a coating if I remember correctly as well (for those guns that have the aluminum frame).Liberal commentary from A cnn editorial piece"The automatic M82 sniper rifle is also known as the "light fifty" for its ability to engage targets at over 50 miles. its like 11 ounces lighter than a full size standard 1911 so I figured it would be best. I am not a fan of plastic guns or DA/SA triggers. I like the SA trigger on the kimber, it breaks clean and have not had to do any work to it.
besides that I got a hell of a deal on it used. The guy bought it, put 50 rounds through it and put it in his safe. I picked it up for 850 face to face when I lived in WA.Liberal commentary from A cnn editorial piece"The automatic M82 sniper rifle is also known as the "light fifty" for its ability to engage targets at over 50 miles.
