Was wondering if I could buy the tt33 copies or cz 52 in 7.62x25 online from say Gunbroker from out of state. I seen a tt33 at a show in Stockton but didnt get to purchase it. So what happens with these old guns that are not even mentioned on the DOJ list? Are the ones in the state already grandfathered or can they continually be imported into the state via FFL? Thanks everyone for their input!

If the gun is 50 years and older then it is exempt from the list -
True the list is for new guns only - You still have the entire segment in between -Comment

The approved list applies to any handgun that is being transfered out of a CA FFL dealer's inventory.
Therefore, if the handgun is being shipped, it needs to be on the approved list or exempt from the approved list.
C&R handguns are exempt from the approved list. [PC 12132(g)]sigpic

Both the CZ52 & TT33 clones are great guns. You should buy a couple. Keep in mind that cheap surplus ammo is very hard to find right now.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

The 9mm barrels for the CZ-52 were sold by Federal Arms. They are no longer sold in the retail arena and have to be found in the consumer market. They've been selling for $100 - $200 lately (can you say "rape"). This picture is from a Gunbroker auction (not mine):

Here is a current GunBroker auction (not mine) for one. You still use the 7.62x25 magazines.
