best IWB holster imo if you plan to CCW -> Tucker silent thunder (leather lined, kydex exterior. 1911forum.c has a great group of owners in their DW forum. plenty of useful info.

I just checked Tucker's website and they no longer make the silent thunder.

Tucker actually never made the Silent Thunder. The Answer is an awesome holster, made by Tucker.

Garrett Industries makes the Silent Thunder. They always have and they still do.

I have a CBOB and love it. I do prefer a Black finish, but the SS finishes have kind of grown on me (especially when the quality is DW).


Congrats on that CBOB, an excellent .45, and good price! The first time I handled a Bob tailed, it was surprisingly just more comfortable. I've had several 1911's prior, never a Bob though.
