    Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail

I've been wanting one for years and walked into my gun store and saw 2 they just got in. I couldn't resist so I got one. I got it for $1440. The gun feels amazing and love the bobtail. If you have one, tell me about. Thanks.

I had one, it was nice but I sold to get a couple of revolvers. I have since sold all my autoloading centerfire handguns. Picking up brass is for suckers.

Very nice piece - I enjoy mine - Just prefer my guns blued though - I got it awhile back so the MSRP price was a bit different - Fit and finish is wonderful -

        What's to tell?
It's the best F***'in Cbob out there, bar none!
take care putting back together after cleaning so you do not get an idiot mark, other then that feed it well and shoot often.
Love mine as long as I can keep my daughter away from it.

You have an excellent 1911 there!

I sold a popular brand name full size to get mine and I am delighted with it.

The fit and finish is outstanding.

If you weren't aware, they are a 12 man shop with a limited production and in essence, all their 1911's are hand made. This is not to say they don't use machinery - they do, but as far as assembly and fitting - all by hand. That's why they're so damn tight!

Best bang for the buck IMO.

I LOVE the way the CBOBs look. Awesome, elegant, and simple. It's 1911 sex.

I have a CBOB and love it. I do prefer a Black finish, but the SS finishes have kind of grown on me (especially when the quality is DW).

Congrats on that CBOB, an excellent .45, and good price! The first time I handled a Bob tailed, it was surprisingly just more comfortable. I've had several 1911's prior, never a Bob though.
