What would be your reason for purchasing it? Are you worried about the alleged "mush" in a OEM Glock trigger? Instead of a $108 dollar part, I would just go with a 4.5 lb connector at a cost of $20.

A waste of money. Seriously, just get a 3.5 connector and you will be fine.
      (now called the 4.5 connector)

Do a search on ".25 cent trigger job" around the web.

Learn the mechanics of your tools. What a lot of these "trigger job" kits are just doing the job that you could do yourself.

But . . . if you never changed your own oil in your car, fixed a broken lamp, got the money and need someone to butter your own bread, give the trigger kits a try.

The 3.5 connector and trigger job is well worth it imo. However, I did see a new connector from Glockmeister called a 5lbs Tactical, which reportedly removes the slack and mush, giving you a crisp break and short take up. I haven't tried one yet, and at $25 I probably won't, but I'd be interested to see if they work. If they do it would be a quick and cheap fix for the mushy trigger. However, to get a clean break that's smooth a trigger job is a must.

Steve, if you're ever in or around Anaheim let me know, I can do the trigger job for you.

well as far as my tools i have a tig, mig, aymmetrical car lift, 20,000 in snap on
and do lsx edit as a hobby.i believe i am very proficient with them.Back to the question. my son bought me a g21 as a retirement gift last sept.my son asked me why i rarely shoot it? i told him it didnot feel like my 1911s or my sigs with srt.he bought me the trigger for my bday last week.so maybe i should just toss it and do a twentyfive cent trigger job?

Just save your $, it's a dam Glock. Go shoot 1,000+ rounds through your pistol and everything will get nice and crisp guarantee.

                      a 1000plus rounds is a lot more than a 90 dollar part.

30 minutes doing a polish job is the cheapest way to make the brake crisp, but it won't remove the "mush" that's there.

Yeah, but you got to shoot 1000 rounds and you get the trigger for free, so, bonus right?

fullmettlejac hey is anyone here on the glocktalk forum?

Yes, I have been on GT since January 1999 at #19, before it was even Glock Talk, but all that means is that there are more people now with Glock questions. There are probably 2 approaches to triggers. Personally, I just put in the 3.5 lb connector and run the guns. When they reach 50,000 rounds, the trigger seems normal. Actually I had a G21 that was nice out of the box. The other approach is to stuff in a GlockWorx adjustable trigger for about $250, or get a Dale Rhea factory 2.5 lb trigger for about the same. Everything else you can do is in between. And try as you may, you cannot turn a Glock into a 1911, so if that is important, stick with your 1911. Doesn't seem to matter that much to Dave Sevigny....

Most trigger questions are from newbies, looking for a magic fix.

We have a gun here in the shop that has a LS trigger bar and it's trigger has been totally reworked.. its one helluva trigger but its only good for target shooting really.

For general purposes I'd suggest a 3.5 connector (LWD brand hopefully..lol), Wolff 6 pound trigger spring and a LWD ultimate trigger stop. It'll give you a great overall trigger.

Here's a pic of the LS triggered gun...
