How often do you detail strip your Glocks?

I just detail stripped my oldest Glock for the first time. I bought this G19 in 1996. I was actually surprised how dirty it wasnt. I'm thinking it may not need it for another 15 years.

Oh yeah, I gave it the Froglube treatment

I detail strip my Glock every 3000 rounds or every six months. I take it down completely and spray it will Simple Green and then wipe it down with CLP.

Annually, and I do the annual inspection procedure also.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

You mean just the frame or the whole slide and stuff too? I'm at about 1k rounds. So it may be about time.

I've seen a literal video of that. I guess it actually works.

I'm probably one of the few who detail strips his Glocks after every shoot and cleans them. Even with 150 rounds through it, I'll detail strip (just the slide) my Glock and clean it thoroughly.

Sad and a waste of time, but I'm anal about havin clean guns sitting around (I shoot maybe once every 3-4 months, so I don't want my guns to sit around dirty for a long period of time.... even though I know a Glock can easily take it).

Get an ultrasonic cleaner and use it regularly. You won't have to detail strip you gun ever again. Not to mention that cleaning guns won't be a chore anymore.

Once a year, around 12-15 thousand rounds.
