Draco questions

So are dracos a specific brand or type of ak pistols? If so what are some other manufacures? I want to get a decent (middle grade) AK pistol, do they make such a think or are they all basically the same?

"Draco" is a specific model/brand name that is imported by Century Arms International.

Century Arms International also makes an AK pistol.

There are also several other AK pistols on the market, in addition to all the home builds.

The Dracos are the most popular because they are the least expensive of all the AK pistols on the market.
The cheap price also brings about lower quality control standards, but it's an AK and it doesn't have to look pretty in order to shoot straight & be reliable.

I know there is the draco and the draco-c. The draco-c comes with the underfolding rear trunion. The draco-c does not come with a cleaning rod and has a barrel about 1/8" shorter than the regular draco.
