First 1911 Recommendation

See if you can find a used Colt Series 70 or a used Kimber Series 1. If not, then get a Springfield Armory. I don't like 1911's with firing pin safeties. If they break, you have a paperweight. Have I ever seen a 1911 firing pin safety break? Yes, one time. I realize the odds of it happening are miniscule, but I've seen it once and that was enough for me.
