I am not LEO or exempt so for me 10 rounds on a 9mm 1911 and 10 on any modern double stack gun sound the same lol.

Loco, I for one, appreciate your time and effort to share your experiences and insighst with us.

Let's face it, isn't that what this forum is all about?

To those who want to jump your case, I'd say

Wouldn't it be better to share with us, your findings?

I'd be interested in reading them.

Or do you not want to take the time and effort?

Thanks... I wasn't trying to compare the guns in an effort to prove one superior to the other, because that's impossible. Both are great platforms, and I love both. I was simply trying to show the difference between then when I was shooting them. I would shoot one mag in one, and then one mag in the other. Noting recoil and other nuances.

I'd put my P14.45 vs a Glock 21 any day.

It's not the gun, the main factor is the hands holding it. So this talk of Vs. Vs. Vs. is a joke gentlemen.

Obviously the shooter/operator of the weapon is the key component. I have basic marksmanship skills down, and I shoot pistols regularly. I know many people want to think that all guns are the same, but they aren't. Some are inherently more accurate than others. The 1911 is one of these guns that by design is more accurate than a lot of pistols on the market. The Glock, while being combat effective, will never be as accurate as a 1911.

Can you shoot a Glock effectively? Absolutely. However, the 1911 is far easier to be accurate with, and with practice will also group smaller than a Glock.

The dual drum is used at 0:50.
You have to admit, the Glock is reliable here!

I'm pretty comfortable with my 1911 8+1 rounds for home defense. Additional mags nearby or in hand. I do have a Glock and 15 rounds of 9mm is pretty nice. Lately I've been hearing about more invasions and attacks (when out and about) happening with multiple attackers, so more capacity could be useful in these situations.

I agree 100% about spray and pray. But as an LEO and LE firearms instructor, I must say that being armed with a firearm that can fire 20-30 low recoil rounds without a reload can be a big plus . That is a fact.

In combat it all boils down to the operator. When I go to the range and want to keep all my shots in the black at 25 yards I tend to reach for the 1911s. If ever I feel a serious threat is coming for a visit I will reach for my Sig GSR TTT and Colt 1991 commander with about 3 or 4 extra mags, and my shotgun.
