    is it legal to have a California seller in California, directly ship my ffl dealer an off roster calif used handgun?

      YES - If he converts it to a Single Shot Pistol or a Single Action Revolver.

      Remember this is not a PPT so the FFL can chanrge what ever he wants for this service.
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

        I have a quick question related to this subject.
        Can you do a PPT with an out-of-state person who is visiting for an of the roster pistol?

          No. The way the CA DROS system is set up both people need to be CA residents for PPT.

          If the gun is not on the roster the dealer can't transfer it to you.

          If the gun is not on the roster you can have the person you're buying it from convert it to single shot or single action. This would exempt the gun from the roster.
