The mag release is also improved because it's bigger. Not necessarily extended, but much wider front to back. I don't have to reach as far to engage it, so mag changes go much easier for me now.
Hmm maybe I'll consider it more. Now I just want to see it'd as reliable as the 3s with the mud texts and what not.

I didn't notice any difference between grip angles with my GEN 4 G21 & G21SF. The GEN 4 G21 frame (without a backstrap installed) is the same size as the G21SF frame. The reason I think the smaller frame Glocks (17,19,22,23 etc) feel different, is because they are essentially SF versions of those models. The GEN 4 9/40/357's with the smallest backstrap installed, are the same size as the GEN 3 9/40/357's. I did notice a different feel in the grip size with my GEN 4 G17 & G35, but I didn't feel like it was a significant change in grip angle.

There is a small change in grip angle between the Gen 3 standard frame and the SF model. The SF model points just a tad lower than the standard frame. I would suspect the same to be true of the SF sized Gen 4 frame. BTW: Me want Gen 4 21 badly.

I just got back from my 2nd range session with my new best friend. I put another 100rds of WWB & 100rds of my 230gr/5.3gr W231 reloads through it. That's a total of 400rds through it now.

SURPRISE!!! ZERO malfunctions. This gun continues to amaze me, both in feel & accuracy.

Looks like you got a good one. From everything I've read and what I'm personally experiencing now.. I think the Glocks that are having problems can be attributed to the extractors. I don't know what newer cost-cutting measure Glock is employing on these (either less machining or poor MIM - not to be mistaken for good MIM), but there seem to be a lot of inconsistencies on the extractors. I have a newer Gen 3 that has a newer extractor and my gun is experiencing a few FTEs. I'm hoping purchasing a Lone Wolf extractor will remedy this - those who tested this out on GlockTalk seem to have good results.

I also just got a GEN 4 G17 (0-2 Spring). I have now fired 100rds Sellier & Bellot, 100rds Federal Champion 115gr, 50rds 124gr+P Ranger T & 100rds of my IDPA reloads (147gr Berry's/3.5gr TG), all with ZERO malfunctions. Either I got lucky, or Glock figured it out.

These off roster weapons come in thru the Single Shot Exemption. Several FFLS are doing this. Cost more, but worth the extra money.

Another way to get an off roster weapon would require an out of state son, daughter, mother or dad, grandpa or grandma..to GIFT the weapon to you and do an interstate transfer.

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

Thanks for the report. I'm considering the gen4 21 or maybe a 20 next. I currently own a Gen 4 17 and a Gen 4 26. They have been great so far. The g4 17 has 980 rounds with zero malfunctions and the g4 26 has 450 rounds with zero malfunctions. I really like the improvements. I sold my Gen 3's and going all gen4.

It definitely adds aesthetics to the photo.
