Hmmm... are we ranting here because they won't sell many guns to CA? Or are we ranting here because they are denying "special privileges" to LEOs?

Many gun owners object to LEOs being about to accquire and use guns that are deemed "unsafe" to us little-people. If an officer wants a used S&W Model 13 from out of state he can get it and keep it, though CA has deemed them to be "unsafe" simply because of the bureaucracy and extortion scheme they've set up.

I've always disliked them for not selling any handguns to Californians. They are making some forward progress as we discussed since they now sell some handguns to Californians. The lack of care and concern is what I rant about as they see Californians as unimportant individuals who aren't good enough for their business.

On a side note, I heard there is a law suit over the state list. It is discriminating against legal gun owners. How can this gun be safe for LEOs but not safe for the average joe. What special training have they aquired? Is my hunter safety class or HSC test not good enough? We live in a state that the laws does not make sense. Some states still do not know LEOs can purchase off list pistols.

It does seem you got your feelings hurt that they didn't go out of their way for you. It's only going to get worst for us average joe gun owners. In the City of Sacramento, you have to provide a ID and a thumbprint to buy ammo soon. It goes in effect in a few months.

          Indeed, watched the meeting live.
