I did only the Glock logo on mine in crayon. It's held up well, subtle, and is removable if I ever change my mind.

I do all my Glocks in white
I use 'Liquid Paper' and clean it with Hoppes Solvent. 2 coats, maybe 3.
Here's my 1992 Glock 17 on the left and my new 2010 Glock 17OD on the right.
May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Nope, no video. The brush I used is small, very small. Amount of paint thinner to use is minimal, actually after that first time I didn't use any paint thinner at all, just filled in the roll marks, trying to stay in the lines, but putting a good amount of paint in so it invariably bled outside of the rollmarks, which was not a problem. Step two was wait 20 minutes or so for the paint to dry then get some CLP or whatever cleaning solution you have, and use that to wipe down over the roll marks...which will leave the paint that's actually IN the rollmarks and take off what is not. To take the paint out of the rollmarks themselves I used hoppes and some fingertip pressure on a cotton patch.That looks great, thanks for the link. Do you happen to have any video of the model paint method? I am mainly concerned with what size brush, how much paint thinner to use, etc. I just don't want to hurt my new baby. (really it is...test fire envelope from Glock reads 3/31/11
)
My word, if you mess it up, or just plain don't like the look, it's easily removed. Don't overthink it, just give it a try

I just got tired of boring black glocks
After owning Glocks since 1987....
One day I saw an OD (olive drab) (but really not green, more like tan)
And I had to have that GLOCK....then I decided to get more OD Glocks. I like
making my GLOCKS extraordinary looking.
I still have a few plain BLACK GLOCKS from the old days..and one new G20 all black (unfired).
So I paint them and add sites, mag extensions, different barrels, etc.
Fun fun...for me.

I don't like the way it looks, at all. But hey, it's your gun, if you like that look then go for it. No need to ask for permission from us.
Originally posted by tuna quesadillaSure, a good 1911 will feed FMJ ammo flawlessly, and some of them will even feed JHP. But they lack the features that make the Glock the excellent pistol that it is. A 1911 is an enthusiast's toy, not a serious combat pistol.Comment
