When you get to AR style rifles are you just going to do it based on full pre-built rifles?
Just pre-built AR's will be in the database. Information on custom builds is better served in the articles section.

Guns are too much like women. I sure don't feel comfortable buying one out of a catalog unless, I've been able to fondle it and see how it fits me first.

Certainly. But with the thousands of different firearms out there, it is essentially impossible to try out every one for size. You need to narrow down your list of potential purchases first, and that's exactly what WhichGun.com is for.

Morfeeis, thank you for the suggestion. A side-by-side comparison would definitely be a nice feature to have. I will look into adding it once I complete the rifles and shotguns sections, and get a few more articles on the site.

If anyone else has any comments, suggestions, or have found a problem or bug with the site, please let me know by replying here or emailing me at info@whichgun.com.

Not iPhone friendly yet. The gun articles get a big blank white area in the middle of page.

Should be fixed, the problem looked to be with some settings on the commenting system (Disqus), although I do not have an actual iPhone or Droid phone handy to test it properly. Please try again and let me know how it goes.

Very cool! Could you automatically cross-reference entries with the CA handgun roster to let us know if each one would be legal to buy here?
                            Thanks for a cool site!

I'm still making tweaks and changes to the calculations as I discover things that don't make much sense (like the example you mentioned).

Yes, I can definitely do this. I'll add this to my to-do list.
