Diamondback pistols

Anyone have any experience with diamondback pocket pistols. I know they make a 9mm and a 380. But I wanna know who are they where did they come from and how reliable are they. Please let me know thanks.

I have no idea who they are but when I saw the price I figured I could probably get something better in their price range.

Diamondback Firearms is based in FL.
The people running Diamondback Firearms have decades of experience making airboats.

The DB-380 was the first firearm they ever designed/produced.
The first several runs (serial number series starting with ZA to ZC) of the DB-380 were not very reliable and had lots of problems (FTF, FTE, parts breakages). The current production (serial number series starting with ZD) of DB-380s are suppose to be better.

The DB-9 is the second firearm they've designed. So far, it is not available.

Kahr Arms is currently suing Diamondback Firearms for patent infringements.

I was very interested in a .380, but after reading many many bad reviews I was kind of leery of buying one, but I still was considering it, then I held it, and nope it's not for me, I thought teh bigger grip would be great, but it just doesn't feel right in my hand, same as Glocks dont, I prefer my Kahr and the LCP I owned much more.

But I have seen some members here who prefer the Diamond backs over their LCP's

It has very high grip, see how the "beavertail" is way up there?
I think they are trying to get a three finger grip for larger hands.

Thanks guys I was just wondering what kind of rep they had. I ended up getting a ruger sr9 I know big difference but the price was right.
