Sig Sp2022

There are its pros and cons. I have the SP2022 and absolutely fell in love with the DA/SA trigger. It has a short, crisp pull and the gun is accurate.
The one thing I didn't like was that everything on the SP2022 is proprietary (except for the rail) and costs a lot. Like factory magazines go for about $45 / each! -
Great gun.. do a search and you can find a TON of threads about it.
Best gun you can buy for under $400.. IMOMember: Patron member NRA, lifetime member SAF, CRPAOriginally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Comment

As a Sig shooter, you will likely enjoy it very much. The stock trigger is much nicer than the stock P-series trigger, although a trigger enhancement on the P-series can surpass it. The slide is still very Sig like, but is unique and quite likeable. Obviously the operations are the same but the controls feel different. I felt like mine was a bit slimmer than my p229, but never compared it to the P220 or P226. All in all, if you are a Sig fan and collector, you should have one in your safe.

Sounds a lot like the FNP-9 which comes with 3 magazines. The 2022 only comes with 1. It's a comparable price considering the magazine delta and the FNP has same trigger feel as the Sig.There are its pros and cons. I have the SP2022 and absolutely fell in love with the DA/SA trigger. Guess what I just bought....Using C Products 10 round magazines in my AR-15...just to be "safe"...Comment

Have to agree the OEM SIG mags are ridiculously price @ $45/ea But peruse the classifieds section and great deals are bound to turn up. I picked up a SP2022 on April 5th, by the 14th I had already found and purchased (4) SIG 10-rnd mags for $25/ea Then last Saturday (April 23rd) I purchased (2) 15-rnd rebuild kits for another $50 So the deals are out thereMagPul MPLA

I looked at a FNP at the gun shop and it was a great looking gun and felt like a quality piece. The controls were opposite of Sigs but still easy to use with great ergos. I might get one down the road. The TS might want to look at both. I like my Sig as well. No complaints.Sig SP2022 9mm

Today, I went to the range with the 2022 and the SR9c, just to figure out what I like better.
The SR9c tops the 2022 in every way in my opinion.
Just sayin'

What other Sig do you have? I have P230sl and P228. maybe i need to breaking hte trigger more on the SP2022. but the Sig pro has the worst trigger of the whole bunch.
So if you want it to add to the collection .. great!!
but I wouldn't replace any other Sig as a shooter.. a beater maybe hahaComment

The problem with TGS is they charge a $9.95 flat shipping fee, even if your order is only a couple bucks, so you gotta order enough stuff to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, a great outfit.
Keep your eye open in the marketplace, gunbroker.com, etc. I picked up four brand new in wrapper Sig factory mags for $49.95 shipped (less than $12.50/ea!). I believe it is Gorenut who says he sees them for sale all the time on the Sig Forum, too (though I haven't yet). The deals are out there if you keep your eyes open.
But... in general, Sigpro parts (or just plain Sig parts period) aren't exactly cheap.John
