Kimber mags?

I've actually had excellent results with the Kimber Pro-Tac Magazines. I purchased mine from The Armory and they have worked in two Colts, one Baer, and a Springfield custom. The Pro-Tacs are stainless and kinda look as though they were patterned after Wilson 47D's... Go figure. I don't know about the non- Pro-Tac Kimber magazines, maybe those have issues?

I have never tried the Pro-Tac Kimber mags. Factory Kimber mags are just a bit better in quality then the $3 each mags I got from Midway a few years ago.

Anyone here use Metalform mags? How are they?

The "Kimpro" mags are very nice. They work great. I use them in my 'Carry' guns, never an issue.

The factory ones are junk, I agree. 1911 factory mags are worth $3 max!

I bought 3 Kimber Pro-Tac Magazines off some guy on eBay some time back and they are all I use in 3 different brand 1911's. Perfect feeding, never a problem no matter the ammo. Way smoother feel loading than any other magazine I've ever had.

+1 for Kimber Pro-Tac Magazines. Well worth the $, and they come with three different thickness polymer bottom (screw-onto the steel) plates.
