which handgun is good for lefty?

couple of my friends and me are left handed, any recommended handguns for lefty? we concern on safety and mag release, plus the handle feeling.... price below $600... around bay area to Sacramento area...

Another South-paw checking in. I'm partial to the SIG brand, so I'll recommend both the SP2022 (the mag release can be used on either side) as well as the P250.
