AR pistol?

i just pick up a CMMG 22 conversion kit for ar15..can i used the cmmg conversion with an ar pistol(pistol has a bullet button and the magazine is only 10rds)

Yes. The bullet button has to stay regardless of the rimfire conversion though, otherwise it's an AW.

Rimfire is exempt. You don't need BB but magazine capacity is 10 rounds unless you have pre-bans. Which in this case would probably be Cieners since most hi cap .22 for ARs was not available then.

I don't agree with this. I have a GSG 5 pistol and Ruger Charger 22 pistol, both with magazine locks. A BB is required when the mag well is outside/not in the handle. The rimfire exemption applies to rifles.

Where can I buy just a pistol buffer tube? I know western sells rra tubes. Does anyone have experience with these tubes? Can I use a car buffer?

I love that tube, but I don't want the spring or st-t2, I already have that.

The RRA tubes work just fine, I would recommend you go that route. It's generally not recommended having a buffer tube that readily accepts a stock on an AR pistol. If you use a carbine buffer you could be in a LOT of trouble if you had a carbine stock around (and maybe even if not.)

I don't believe that is the way it works. It is the fact that it CAN accept a stock - constructive possession of an SBR.

I have many carbine stocks and lowers around. This will be my first pistol. All I have is a stripped lower, moe pistol grip, moe trigger guard, and parts kit inbound form palmetto state.
