I would buy a used gun in a hot second

If it was in good shape, a good deal, and something I was looking for

You really can find a nice deal on a used gun. I've had no problem with doing so. It's the same concept of buying a used car....as soon as it's been rolled off the lot it loses some dollar value but none of its function/utility. I usually try and get one that's as close to new as possible at as good of a price as I can find. Guns typically don't wear out...you're going to end up shooting it and having a used gun regardless . If you can save a chunk of change on the front end and use it for some magazines, ammo and a rig then hell: go for it.

Big BUT though: if there isn't much of a difference price wise between the used guns you can find and the new...I just get a new one. Check the sales forum here....you can find a better deal than most shops with no tax

If what you want is a rare go used. If its a dime a dozen get the new one......

              CaLi GrEEnZ - PM sent

From my experience with Turner's and their M9A1 sale is that the inventory is thin. I've been there the day the ad came out, twice, but after work to purchase the M9A1 and they were all sold out. I don't know about now because it's been awhile since I stopped by there.

As for the current ad, if I'm not mistaken, it's for the M9 and not the M9A1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

used all the way. its cheaper and most people only shoot 1-200 down the pipe.

I think I might have 2 guns bought brand new - Most of the guns in my collection are no longer available in CA or at all -

Have no fear - Buy used -

Used....most people don't shoot their guns that much, unless they compete or train a lot .

Since it's your first I would go new, unless you know someone who will go examine it for you.

There is nothing wrong with a good used pistol. Just make sure to inspect the pistol well before purchasing it.

I bought my first gun used.. However I did know the person I bought it from, and knew its history and how much it was used, etc..
I'd probably still buy another gun used though, like others have said, if it was in good condition, good deal, and something I really wanted..

If you want the rail you will be hard pressed to find an A1 used. I just started paperwork on an M9A1 from Bud's for $565 shipped though (they were sold out last I checked after the price jumped to $623 within days). If you want the rail, just go for it. I have four 92 Beretta's, but this will be my first with the rail and I am totally stoked.
Fallujah had become a magnet for foreign jihadists and there were several thousand in the city who had come to make martyrs of themselves, to die while killing as many Americans as possibleAt each house I said a prayer, 'Please God get me out of this one.' When I come out of the house, I thank Him, light up a cigarette and move on to the next onesigpic
