WHY ONLY 200-300

Sometimes it's hard just to find a fun place to shoot in Kalfornia. That's what keeps the round count low in my guns. lol

I have bought at least five handguns from Calgunners and ALL of them were barely used at all. All were reliable and accurate and will pass for NEW inside and out! All were advertised as having 100-300 rounds thru them.

There are really some great people here who are true to their words when they sell something! OR Maybe I was just extremely lucky, all these times?

I have seen some pistols on here that look like they have had 5k rounds through them just from the pics.

It all depends on how well you trust the person selling it.

All of the pistols and rifles I have I put probably 200-300 rounds through them on the very first trip to the range. I think it is strange for someone to have a 9mm, 40, or a 45 with only 50 rounds through it, unless of course, the person has several of the same gun and want to get rid of some dupes.

I have talked to a guy before who had a USP with only 50 rounds through it, several magazines that were heavily used. Were they used on a different gun, or that specific one? Who knows, its up to the buyer to check out the firearm before they buy.

200-300 is one range session with a pistol.

No kidding. My new SIG got out of jail on March 11, and I'm already at 1,000. But after 250, there were lots of signs of use.

I always include an approximate round count on any gun I'm trying to sell simply as a courtesy. Plus, yes I have specifically sold guns because they were sub par, and yes I adjusted the price accordingly and told the buyer why the price was so low. I've actually never had an unreliable (FTF/FTE) firearm but I have advise someone when selling that I couldn't get that particular gun to group well. My personal redflag is when someone is selling a gun, they openly state they've put a couple of thousand rounds through it, and I ask how well it groups. The unsettling reply is "uhhh, I never really noticed". I don't know if they're lying or not but it's typically a deal killer for me when I hear that.
