Ditto, I added some 1911's and some CZ's to the Arsenal as well.

If Sig had an affordable Single Action 9mm, I would be shooting that instead.

I just added a HK P2000 to the stable as well as a Dan Wesson PM7 1911... my Sigs have company now.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Sig. A West German P228 and it's spectacular. I wish I could have brought it with me and shot it next to the 1911.

But getting a new 1911 definitely jumped to (near) the top of my short list. Thinking about the Kimber Custom II, but definitely looking into others.

Here's the thing, a 1911 is the firearms equivalent to the little black dress for women.

I don't carry mine for work or CCW, I don't even shoot it as much as I shoot other pistols (just about 1k rounds a year through it compare to 3-5k for my primary) and I often wonder if I should even have it.

But when the time is right and it goes out to the range, there is no doubt which is the greatest hand gun ever built.

You can like anything, you can buy, carry, shoot, sell, trade and have as many handguns as you want. But as an American there is one hand gun that any firearms enthusiast must have and that is the 1911.

100 years and still one of the most popular hand gun ever designed.

Mmmm... gun porn. Those three (the two you mentioned + the Kimber) are the three I'm seriously looking at.
