I had finally picked up my 38 super on Thursday. The next day I field stripped it cleaned it up and got it ready to go. On Saturday I hit the range and it started shooting great. After about 30 or so rounds bam I get 2 FTE! I finished that box and on to my next one. On the next 20 rounds I had fired off I get 3 more FTE.
Pretty bummed about those 5 FTE I got out off 100 rounds on that session. I have to say though the RIA was really accurate and that was my first time shooting a 38 super. Anyhow I got a question for my fellow calgunners. I remembered today that when I was cleaning my gun for the first time. I had forgotten to run a patch through the barrel. Could that have coused the 5 FTE.
Oh and I was using the original magazine that came with the RIA and 2 Mec-Gar magazines.

I just converted it to 9mm and its a wonderful gun. You might want to go that route. (much much cheaper) and you know it can handle +p+ loads. lol
