Buying on Gunbroker.com and 30 day wait

    Here's the deal:

(1)-I bought a handgun on 2/19/2011 at a local gun shop.
    (2)-I won a bid for a handgun on Gunbroker.com with a layaway option on 2/23/2011. I put $200.00 down.
(3)- I have the money to pay it off now.

My question: When I have the local FFL send his info to the seller, will I have to do the DROS at the same time? Or can I have the gun shipped now and do the DROS after the 30 days have passed?

Second question: Is it normal to become addicted to the smell of gun powder when you first get interested with firearms?

It's up to your dealer if he/she wants to let you take up safe space waiting for your 30 day period to elapse...it's not normally a problem...I have customers with as many as six firearms in the safe...and they have to wait 30 days for each of them...it's funny, cuz they just keep buying and putting them in line.

And yes...the smell is very addictive.

What he said. If you're a regular customer he will probably let you have the gun shipped now.
      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
